Better Buttons Reveal
So I've made those annoying message buttons (quote/report) that appear on hover do their thing a bit more gracefully. I'm liking it so far, but maybe it'll be just as annoying after I get used to it :)
If it doesn't work for anyone, let me know. If you don't like it, give it a day or two, then if you *still* don't like it let me know ;)

Oh, you'll need to refresh a discussion page to get the new Javascript and CSS or it'll keep doing it the old way. So if you're all like "Huh? It's the same as it was before." then do a refresh or three.

Can we speed up the scrolling? The expanding of the message? Sure.

I like the buttons but I find the way that when they appear the box surrounding the post gets bigger a bit distracting. I think it would look cleaner if the space was already there and the boxes just faded in on hover.

+1. It really does feel a little "seasick" to me the way it is right now.

Then on hover they fade into full opacity and colorize.
Also, when previewing a message. the effect seems a little weird to appear onto itself. Maybe do a dissolve or something (eg in the film industry, a dissolve usually indicates a duration of time has passed... which would be appropriate here), then on post, change the color to green. I think I've posted a couple times where I previewed instead of posted (like the old forum) and thought the post had taken only to come back to the post a couple days later and realized it actually didn't post!

Righto. I'll look at a way of avoiding the message box resizing. Yeah, maybe just having the space already there for the buttons would do it.
SpinThis!, I changed the previews to say 'Preview' on the left, but it's probably still too subtle. I'll look at making them more obvious.
