I just got SSL and so far so good except one problem. I'm getting noise from the table plugged into input 2 when the input 1 table is cue/playing on the other channell with levels off. I know this sounds like a cross fader problem but I've tried three different mixers, and four different table/needle set ups and had the problem on every try. I've tried changing the threshold settings, buffer size, etc..., but nothing has worked. Has anyone experience this problem? Could it be the inputs or out puts on the SSL box?
thanks

Checked your RCAs? Any power supply close to them? That could be the cause of it.

Sounds like a ground loop somewhere.

Brandon, I am not sure, but IIRC SSL wont have a ground loop problem as the ins/outs are separated. Anyone knows for sure?

can't be a groundloop since the ssl inputs are seperated.
have you tried swapping the channels around -- swapping table 1's output for table 2? does this happen with regular vinyl as well? i would try unplugging everything then plugging it all back in making sure the rcas are nice and snug.

Good point. But I wasn't just referring to the interface. There could be other things causing it.
Make sure cables are secure if that doesn't work check to make sure you don't have a bad cable in line somewhere.
