I have had SSL for 2 months and have yet to rely on it for gigs. I have checked and quarantined several corrupt mp3s. Now even still my SSL freezes (only when loading the track) I have checked the files (ashampoo) and they say they are OK. Another thing I don't understand is if the file is corrupt why will it sometimes play it through and sometimes crash the system ? Wouldn't is crash the system every time? Just to test it I played a 2 hour set of only known corrupt files at the house a few days ago and played everyone w/o crashing. How is this? Im looking forward to the day (night) that I have no worries with my SSL.

What kind of freeze is it? Is it just the decks or the entire application? You might wanna get an extra power supply and see if that helps.

got the extra power suply. As soon as I send a song to the deck (CNTRL ^) it locks the ap up and I get the dreaded "spinning beach ball of death"

What buffer size do you use?

It sounds like bad files to me. Some files that turn out okay in ashampoo will turn out to be bad in other analyzers. Some corrupt files also play in any other application than SSL. Logical really. SSL isn't your normal dual MP3-player ;)

@DJSpice

What version of Scratch LIVE are you using?

What do you use to encode your music files to MP3?
