Importing/Browsing Issues

Well I got SSL set up in about 15 minutes and I have to say I am blown away. Good job guys. Stellar product.

I am a bit confused on importing and browsing files however. So far I have only been able to access music directly off a CD loaded in the drive. I set up SSL to read itunes libraries, I have tried dragging direct into the SSL lib, tried importing off CD, and tried accessing from the itunes music folder. So far, I show no files available for import.

In some cases, the files are visible, but I will select and drag them to the *all icon and ..... nothing. I looked through the manual and read it cover to cover... what am I missing?

Make sure the files are MP3, AIFF, WAV, or OGG otherwise SSL won't be able to read them. (iTunes' importer is set to AAC as the default setting, so be sure to check the importing options within iTunes' preferences)

thanks... that was it... brand new laptop, I forgot to check the default encoder.
