On the offline player, Why are my files only being analyzed one at a time instead of two ? I'm running version 1.9.2 on a compact presario pc. windows XP

Do you have a dual core processer? It will only do 1 file per core

Depends on your computer's CPU...
Single CPU/ 1core = 1 overview
Dual Core = 2 overviews
Quad Core = 4 overviews
Dual Quad = 8 overviews
