I thought it was just my computer so I upgraded the ram to 2 gigs. My songs keep 'skipping' regardless of where i pull them from. I run a 8 gig flash drive and a 250 external, both via USB. I dont understand what is going on and have a gig SATURDAY! ANY help is appreciated as I am becoming extremely frustrated!

Are all of your files analysed? Are you running a Usb hub or are all of your USB devices including Serato coming direct from you laptop ports?

Are you getting a red USB dropout light when the "skips" occur?
What are the specs on your computer?
Where do you have the "USB Audio Buffer" set to?
Which playback mode are you using?
Do you use turntables or cdj's?

I am not sure if all my sobgs are analyzed.....I am running directly into my laptop ports.....one is my SL3 device, one has a flash drive, and one has my external hard drive....yes I get a red USB light then it goes to yellow and disappears....My specs are 2 gigs of RAM and a 2.13 GHz Intel Pentium M processor....my computer is a Dell Latitiude D610.....my USB buffer is set to max, per the instruction manual....and I am using cd turntables. PLEASE HELP AS I AM LOSING MY PATIENCE!!! I cant be the only one this has happened to....also is there a live tech I can call if I still am having trouble?

To analyze your files, disconnect your hardware and you will see the option above the crate section.
Have you turned off your wireless / internet / network connections? That along with the Anti Virus are known causes of USB drop outs on the program.
Your USB audio buffer is set to 20?

Yes my buffer is at 20....I put it there after reading the manual about this problem. My song text should be green if it's analyzed, right? Yes I turn my internet and anti-virus off before I start ScratchLive. Im still at a loss but GREATLY APPRECIATE your technical support Chad....THANKS!

Green tracks just mean you have played them.
To analyze the files, you will disconnect your hardware. Above the crate section you will see the Analyze files tab. Just click that button and let it run. Once done, if you see any icons that look like a cd with a crack or lightning bolt through it, those are the bad / corrupt files and need to be removed form the library.

Ok, so I analyzed my songs, but it seems like all of them havent been analyzed because it only analyzed 197 songs and I have WAY more than that.. I am still having this skipping problem. I have tried every possible connection. I have an external hard drive and a flash drive that I pull songs off during my set. I have removed each one to see if maybe one or the other is or was corrupted....nope. I still have songs skipping. I then removed my hardware and ran the program. I still have this skipping occuring. It got a little better with the analyze feature, but something is still wrong. I have new wires, new equipment....I have narrowed this problem to either my computer, the program, or a mix of both. I dont know what else to do....PLEASE HELP!!!! I have a huge weekend coming up and am hell bent on getting this resolved....thanks in advance.

Also I forgot to mention that when I get this 'skipping' going on, the USB light comes on and is red, then goes to yellow, then disappears. Dont know if thats normal or what because I dont know what normal is....lol!

Sounds like you spoke to Rapheal. He said that you get the dropouts even though the hardware isn't connected. That would really make me suspect the computer.
Are you sure that your wireless / internet / network connections have been turned off?
Do you have other programs running?
Have you tried disabling the anti virus?
You said your buffer was already set to 20, which is as high as we can go.
