Hi venom 69,

The "bypass" buttons are used to bypass the current effect loaded to the effect slot. If you are unable to use effects (they are greyed out) it means that your graphics card is not capable of handling them. What are the specs of your computer (including graphics card)?

Thanks for that :) You can find which graphics card you are using by;

1) Clicking the Windows Start button.
2) Open Control Panel.
3) Switch to classic view.
4) Open Device Manager.
5) Expand the Display Adapters tree, it will then show you which graphics card you have :)

Ok, it seems you have an integrated graphics card which is not powerful enough to use the effects in Video-SL sorry. If you want to use them you'll need to upgrade your graphics card.
