Go into Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > Advanced, then in the Advanced submenu look on all the tabs (mine is under Monitor) for a box that says "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display". It should be checked. Uncheck it. Now you will be able to increase the resolution past 1024x600. However, some of the screen will be "chopped off" and you have to mouse your mouse in that direction and the screen will follow. Now you'll be able to use start and use Scratch LIVE, but as I said, some (but not much) of the screen will be cut off.

yeah i've already got that, but unfortunately (as the laptop is already a chopped of version of a normal laptop) it makes it hard to scroll from top to bottom on the smaller touchpad (mouse).
Is there a fix on the way? or a version of serato that will be designed for the 1024x600 screens? A hell of a lot of DJ's are going toward the mini laptops.... this should be a priority to get fixed...
I'm willing to pay for the application if needed, and if that will motivate someone to actually do it, then great...

I checked in with the dev team. There is hope in the future, but that future may be distant, but there is now hope.
