Problem With Pioneer DJM 600. Please Help
Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has had this same problem? Tonight i was playing a gig and everything was fine until the lights on my mixer went off. The music kept playing but with the sound being like the way it would sound if you had dust on your needle. It eventually started to sound normal after about ten seconds and i thought i would be in the clear to finish the night by mixing using the waveforms on serato. Turns out after three songs it got so bad i had to play a cd on the clubs cd player for the last 45 min.
Also last week the headphone jack broke so im wondering if maybe a piece from that shorted something out tonight. If anyone has any opinions or have seen this before i would really appreciate the help. Thanks guys!

are the pio forums really so terrible with helping their customers that they have to resort to other boards?

That sucks man, I use a a 600 as well and have not had any problems thus far and mine is five years old and used on many mobile gigs. I would look to a local repair shop to get an estimate to get it repaired. If you had to replace it, you can find a good one for $500 and below by searching around. Far cry from what they used to cost and they are a decent mixer to use all around. Hope everything works out.
