Mixmaster Mike, Yo Gabba Gabba & SSL

took my son to go see "yo gabba gabba live" yesterday at the shrine and to my amazement mixmaster mike was part of the show! haha! he did a really dope set but i don't think a lot of people got it. he was on SSL by the way! later in the show biz markie pops on stage! he's a producer of the show and sometimes does a segment called biz's beat of the day but i really didn't expect him to be there at the live show. it was awesome. then john heder (napoleon dynamite) came out and danced with the kids. haha! what a surreal show...i gotta say for a kids show, it was the shit! haha!

That show is gonna create an underground group of dope MCs and hip hop purists when these kids get older haha

doesnt yo gabba gabba record here in nyc. my boy is a sound engineer.

i think they are having different guests in each city and even for each show. one of the ushers said that on sat snoop was the "dancee dance" guest. haha! i don't know where they record the studio version of the show.

ahhhh. nice tho. i've heard nothing but good things from my parent friends. i believe its a show aimed at the parent-child demographic alike. something that both you and your kid can watch together. pretty clever if you ask me.

there's more shows coming out like that.

yeah man it was REALLY cool! i kinda got the same feeling as when i go see a concert and come out feeling all amped. haha! my kid was in heaven. it took him a while to loosen up but by the end he was dancing and singing along and trying to get the people's (on stage) attention. the only time i kinda felt like a tool was when i caught myself excitedly trying to explain to my 3yo who mixmaster mike is. haha!

I would'nt mind watching it I'll probably enjoy it more than my kids.....lol

The only palatable kids show on TV, even Sesame Street isn't as good anymore.

me and the kids are big Yo Gabba Gabba fans. been Tivo'ing since they first aired.

i have alot of kids in my family (no racist) so i have to sit through gabba gabba alot. i digs it.
