Hi,I have sl3 and a Denon dn-hd2500 and everything works great. The only Thing is the Platter movements do not work so well. The scratch is very hard to work and backspins dont work also you have to turn the platter like 3 or 4 spins just to get 2 seconds into the song.Is there a fix to this or is it a hardware limitation. Thanks

It sounds like you need to tweak the Denon platter speed. Denon has it's own software for doing this. I haven't used it, so I don't know how to do it, sorry.
I would call Denon and ask them how :) -->> 630-741-0330

Hmmm, I could have sworn I talked to a guy that needed to tweak something in the jog code back to default. --->>> #36 looks kinda like it, but I dont know -->> www.denondj.com
Switch the virtual decks to ABS mode and check the 33 and 45 setting, which do you have selected?

Try this:
Close SSL
Open your My Music folder
Open the ScratchLIVE folder
Locate and rename the MIDI folder to Old_MIDI
Restart SSL
Any luck?

What firmware version do you have installed? -->> www.denondj.com
Does reverting back to the 1.9.1 version of SSL have any affect?
Do you have another computer you can use to test your 2500?

Do you have the "scratch" feature enabled for the jog wheel?

I have the latest v1400 firmware.I started on 1.9.1 and It did the same.I just installed 1.9.2 hoping it would work better.I just tried another computer and it does the same thing.I did try the scratch button same thing,I am lost with this.

I have the same problem (sorry for bad english, I'm french!)
It's not possible to scratch with job, The range of moving must be increase when job the platter is used.

If you're experiencing the same problem using a different computer and a different version of SSL, the problem must be within the 2500 itself.
Do you experience the same issue when using the 2500 with regular audio CDs?

Shaun, I think like you, because, with mp3 stored in internal HD I have the same problem.
But it's will be fine to have the possibility to modify the sensibility of the job in midi mode.

Go into the Denon Utility mode and use the Factory Default function in Utility mode to set your 2500 to the default settings.

Awesome! So the setting for the jog wheels is in the Utility Mode or the presets area?
I'd like to know where exactly, so I can help people with this in the future :)
Thanks!
