Windows 7 -- UPDATE?

I read the thread in the Help section noting that Windows 7 is not officially supported. It went on to state an official announcement on testing was due around October 22. I understand "around" can mean anything but lets be mature and assume that it meant the 22nd possibly a few days later. It will be three weeks tomorrow and still no announcement even if it were to say "We are still in the process of evaluating drivers for release on WIndows 7", I'm sure it would make some pleased to read.

Personally, I am not upset just OCD about my computers having proper drivers even if things are working ok with "other" methods. =)
