Splitting Video sl with a live camera feed

I am new to this and it is probably covered already so if someone can help me out witht his it would be much appreciated thank you......I want to split the video sl output with a camera set up on my light truss so it goes from videos and graphics to live shots of the crowd dancing...........

you might be able to work something out with a firewire camera and a qtz composition on a mac. i think windows users are SOL.

other than that, you'll need an external video mixer.

Do you want both at once or one at a time? Mac or pc?

if all he wants to do is alternate he can just plug a camera and his Video SL output into a cheap switcher

Yea I wanted to transition between a live feed and videos ,(so if I got this right I would be using the comps vga out converted to s-video going into channel 1 of the Edirol and plugging the camera feed which is already s-video into the channel 2, then running from the Edirol s-video output converted to vga and split to run to both of my 50" plasmas.) is that right?????
