setting up serato when i dj out-there is always a problem with the signal

whenever i set up at a gig i have trouble with the signal-i set it up fine with the equipment correct except there is always a problem. usually the scroller on the tracks keeps moving from the bottom to the top or the track doesnt play properly-it creeps along at a slow pace. I never feel like i can rely on it to install. I have to use just one deck before as i havent been able to get the second to work.

Are you getting circles in the calibration screens? Usually when a turntable scrolls thru the songs, its because the RCAs coming from that TT are not plugged into the SL1 correctly. Make sure the colors are matching Red to Red and White to White.

yes everything is plugged in properly-can it be an issue associated with needles?

or a hardware fault?

I believe it is your turntable. Plug this TT into the other input on the SL1 and see if that TT does the same on the other side (could be the needles I would check those aswell).

Could be that the RCAs coming from that TT are not marked correctly. Meaning Red is actually White and so on.
