Math Problem
So My daughters teacher presented the parents with a math problem.
What is the Number?
-The sum of the digits is 17
-It is an even number between 17000 - 18000
-There are 2 pairs of digits that have a difference of 6
-No digit is greater than 7
-The number is less than 17100
I think it's 17036
Right or wrong?

well, you said it's two pairs with a difference of 6... your answer only has one pair, right? Or am I not seeing something

Why would the teacher say "-It is an even number between 17000 - 18000" and "-The number is less than 17100"?
Why not just say it's a number between 17000-17100?
Why not just say it's a number between 17000-17100?

Its a pretty easy question when you think about it. She already gave you 3 out of the five digits with her last hint. 170_ _
Now just come up with a combinatioon of 2 numbers that add up to 9. There are none bigger than 7. So, 7+2 or 6+3 or 4+5. That's it. Put in those three and see which one comes meets all the criteria.
By the way, 17063 also works.

Hey djs should be good at math.
Ya gotta know if the track playing is 128 bpm and the next track is 126bpm you bump the pitch 1.6%
or that sick D&B track at 180bpm will mix nice with a hiphop acapella

I guess I'm too literal, for me a pair of digits would be next to each other. Then this question would not be possible.
