Ability to connect Hardware while having sound through laptop speakers.

I would like to see the ability to listen to the tracks through my laptop speakers while just the hardware is connected so i can somewhat practice and align tracks in a set list while chillin on the couch, traveling, etc. Is this possible now without having to have the audio cables hooked up to turntables?

Right now when i hook up the hardware without turntables attached there is no sound at all.

I know we can all bring up the 1 deck without hardware connected and have sound, but what about having both decks up so we can mix for practice?

As long as the hardware is connected, Serato wont have to worry about people using their free software for djing at clubs, etc., without buying Scratch Live hardware.

If this can be done now, I could use some help on this.....if it cant be done (which is what I have experienced), Serato - Please add this as an option!

Thanks all!

I do it by using a 1/8" to stereo RCA cable from my SL1.

1. In setup, place program in mono
2. Connect 1 RCA to Left deck output (either channel)
3. Connect 1 RCA to Right deck output (either channel)
4. Connect 1/8" jack to sound card input on laptop.

It sounds odd since each deck only comes out one speaker, but I do it all the time.
