What kind of Dog do you have?
I am just curious who on this forum got a dog?
And what breed?
This is Geremy, a dutch shepherd. Almost two years old. He is doing "Mondioring" which is close to police work.
At home is really relaxed (mostly) but at least I don´t have to worry about burglares :-)
Here he is on the right side:

At work:

Angry:

But I can´t take him to the club since he is still under legal drinking age!

He's incredible so far. He's obedient and he's great with strangers. He's extremely curious but isn't troublesome at all.
Bulldogs tend to be on the stubborn side. I've heard they can be hard to train but I haven't had any trouble with him so far. The breeder I got him from is a trainer herself, so she had him very well trained already by the time I got him at 4 months.

He is also curious and perfect with children and strangers but always has to dominate other dogs. He doesn´t heart them but knocks them to the ground etc. and the owners always freak out.

I miss my Chocolate Lab. Had him for 17 yes before we had to put him down. Even around 14 to 16 he would chase rabbits and be able to jump up and down from the bed of my dads truck. He was an incredible dog. Very obediant. He'd never piss in the house. One day we took off for the weekend and forgot to put him in the garage. Came home and his legs were shaking he had to shit and piss so bad. That dog had been hit by 4 cars in his life, one being a real bad incident but he kept trucking until old age and cancer got to him.
I'd love to have another chocolate lab, they are awesome dogs. But they shed way too much and living in an apt in NYC, my allergies would kill me. I thought about getting those small fluffy dogs because they have the least amount of pet dander, but I hate ankle biting lap dogs and their damn "yelps". When a lab barks, you can feel it in your chest.

steve your dog is a pain in the ass because those terriers have a lot of energy, you probably need to exercise the shit out of him or get him a job to do
can you skateboard or do you have a bike ? go for a skate/bike ride with him everyday on the leash and he will probably behave much better

Anyways, since she had about 8 of them there was always trouble concerning leadership in between them. Constantly fighting and all that.
What did she do? She got a Jack Russel!
That little dictator is now ruler of eight of these Malis and no Mali has the guts to mess with him!

1. We had a big garage that we used for my dirtbike and my dads Harley. There was also a couch and shit. It was just a hangout spot instead of a place to put the cars. If we left for like 2 days, or gone for pretty much the entire day we'd just leave him in there and he'd be cool. We'd just crack open the garage door and leave plenty of water and food. He'dusually pee and poop in a pile in the corner instead of all over, so it's easy to just spray the piss out with a pressure washer.
As far as the car thing, we had a wooden privacy fence and he would always find a way out. We even put cinder blocks in front of the gate but because it rains so hard in MI, he'd dig just enough to be able to get through while bending the wood to the gate. But we had lived there for so long that we didn't worry about him running away. There was a private pond about a mile from our house and that's where he'd go. Through the years he did that he got hit by a car twice. It was a little residential area, not on a highway or anything.
The other two, my dog got out while we were playing some street hockey and he went darting across the street to chase the ball right when a car was coming. Hit him pretty good but my dog rolled a couple of times, yelped, and got right back to running around. The other time I left the gate open mowing the lawn and he got out and was hit.
That dog was tough. He was an outdoor dog. We didn't let him in the house much but he didn't want in unless it was winter. He'd always stand by the door and bark if he was in so this dog was solid. He was 4'9" on hind legs and 105 lbs. Hardly any fat. He could take a hit obviously.

We've tried the exercise thing, didn't work. We have a huge backyard and he goes back there about an hour or two a day and runs around the backyard chasing and barking at birds. He gets plenty exercise. I think I just got a bad apple because I've met some real nice JRT's but mine is just plain mean. I still love the little fucker though but it causes a LOT of fights between me and my girl because he's constantly biting her.
Everyone says we'd be a perfect match for one of those dog training shows.

yea that one time we were playing hockey. People would always stop. They'd grab him and bring him home. Never any hit and runs haha.
When I was younger i'd strap on some rollerblades and he'd pull me for a good 1 1/2 mile, the first 1/2 mile being a good sprint. I grew up an only child so I was pretty close to him. All my homies would come over and we'd play some keep away for hours with him till he was exhausted. He was just a cool dog

But if you have a dog that is plain mean then you did something wrong.

Living home my dad never wanted a dog. I'm getting married next year and buying a house, so after we get settled me and my girl both want a dog so I'm sure we are going to get one. We like the Daschunds! :) I think they are really cute.
