Mobile DJs need Advise PLZ

Around the beginning of Dec., I plan on visiting my fam in the ATL area possibly for the remainder of the winter. I want to bring my equipment with me to get my practice on (Lord knows I needs TOO) & at the same time get my networking on.

I want to bring my joint from the Bean to ATL. I plan on flying down. I got an Odyessey coffin that holds my Numark turntables & TTM 56 mixer. I just copped a QSC amp. & a fold up stand to lay the coffin on top of.

I was thinkin UPS/FedEX. Any economical suggestions PLZ anyone?

Ship it third rate mail (USPS) now and it may be there by Dec?

pack the tables in a suitcase (padded of course) with clothes, and the amp also in a second suitcase..........take da mixer in ya carry on and ship the EMPTY roadcase/coffin......the most u gonna pay for is the 2nd checked bag/suitcase.......if the case gets delayed, no biggie, u got ya shit with you........

Third Class mail is quite cheap compared to First Class or FedEx/UPS. Just real slow

I honestly think you should drive down to ATL.... it would be a lot less hassle to deal with.

That's starting to sound like my best option ...
