For Serato: How to make 3 decks possible

Why not have a button on the top left beside "Reverse Input" called "Enable Deck 3" and when you click it, a new window appears. With this window we can move it around so that it sits on top of wherever we want it.

Now, how do you control input for it? Well, you can have 2 buttons that say "left" and "right". You click "left" to have this 3rd deck read the signal from your left deck and set the original left deck to Internal.

Cuepoints/hot cues? Well, if you selected the left deck as control, the hot cues would be 1 - 5, but to get the original left deck, hold SHIFT + 1-5.

Pretty much everything set for your decks are changed to the pop-up deck and the other deck gets shortcuts with a SHIFT + *.

As for music output... I'm sure there's a way to take advantage of the THRU output and use the LINE output at the same time, yes?

This was just my crazy idea after doing a set that would have been 50x better with a 3rd deck. What does everyone think?

I think that if your creative enough you could use what serato has given you and find a way to give your self more decks maybe by daisy chaining 2 sl1s and using 2 computers instead of 1 you would have the ability to mix 4 decks making your sets 100% better just make sure once you lock your bpms to use internal mode to keep it there and as we all know some music tends to drift once youve locked the bpm
best thing to do is get a copy of abelton and warp everything you play may sound crazy
but the more organized your sets are the better they will sound to your audience

what if you just drag things to/from the sampler bank(s) and deck?

Can you drag currently playing tracks into the sampler and have it continue playing AND control volume levels?

As for having 2 laptops, 2 SL boxes and have 4 tables.... not practical. Most clubs I work at only has 2 turntables or 2 CDJs. Besides, that'd be $$$

Ya'll just hatin
