SL1 Box

Ok, I have a TTM57 and I'm constantly having to move it from my home set-up to my mobile set-up. I have a chance to by a SL1 for cheap and just wonderin' is it worth gettin an SL1. Is the technology still solid. I'm gonna try to pay $250 for it so....? Thoughts?
