Will TTM56 Drop In Price Because Of TTM57L?
Hey all,
just wondering if the 56 will drop in price, because of the release of the 57L. If so, how much do you think?

don't think it will ... they both can exist together...
some stupid people may not want serato & effects in their mixer and just want the 56 instead...

I think it will. Look at the TTM 54 and the TTM52. They used to be priced up there too, but as the new products come out they drop a bit.
Now it is Rane gear, so it wont drop that far.
As well SSL dropped in price too. Used to be $530US everywhere yo go as the lowest, now its like $460US.

The cheapest I've seen SSL is $480 shipped and that's from AGIprodj.com. I was at Guitar Center yesterday and they still had it for $540.

not so sure about that, i dont consider myself stupid and will be buying a 56 over a 57, that said i already have ssl, it really aint a problem to me having a mixer and the sl1, as for effects - there are plenty of small stand alone units available (and im not fussed on them anyway).
if you punting your 56 boabmatic give us a bell

other stuff in there too, like being able to record on the laptop through the USB, mixer controls for serato including footswitches for the loops/effects..
plus probably some other stuff they haven't developed yet due to it being upgradable through the USB.
sorry but probably keep my 56 I think....
and are you sure you're not stupid ;-)
