Organizing A Digital Music Library

Organizing A Digital Music Library

Analyze your process for building your library

And evaluate it.

This could be as simple as:

Some points to consider are:

  • What are the ways music comes to be on your computer?
  • Do you want ALL your music in Scratch LIVE?
  • Should you have an evaluation stage for new music before spending time organizing and importing it?
  • Do you sometimes get music in incompatible formats or of an unacceptable quality?
  • Consider if your process is complex enough to warrant mapping out on paper, or in a flow chart.
  • Periodically re-evalute this process

Once you have an idea about how you should be dealing with your music, you can move on to actually organizing it.
